Alec Harrington is a senior associate in the firm’s business law practice. He advises clients on real estate transactions, mergers and acquisition transactions, entity formation, partnerships/LLC/corporate matters, property tax issues, and other transactional matters. Alec also continues to support his estate planning clients and frequently assists with trust administration matters.

Prior to joining our firm, Alec’s practice focused on estate planning, trust/probate administration, tax controversy, and business transactions. He was an associate at Stanaland & Associates, a boutique law firm in San Francisco. Throughout his career Alec has regularly advised clients on estate planning and administration, property tax issues, trust/probate litigation, and entity formation and management. His clients have included individuals, families, real estate investors and developers, and various small businesses.

Alec received his BA degree with a double major in International Affairs and Spanish from the University of Nevada, Reno. He received his law degree from San Francisco’s Golden Gate University in 2008. He returned to Golden Gate University after sitting for the bar exam and earned an LL.M. Degree in Taxation in 2009.

Alec lives in Alameda and, when not in the office, enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, home renovations, motorcycling, fly fishing, and running.
