Charles Thompson practices in the areas of tax, real estate, partnership, business law, and estate planning. Mr. Thompson graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, in 1975, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and Thurston Society. He earned an LL.M. Degree in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in 1979. He was an Adjunct Professor in the M.S. and LL.M. Tax programs at Golden Gate University in San Francisco and is a frequent lecturer on tax, real estate, and related topics for various continuing education programs. Mr. Thompson was the 1988-1990 Chair of the Sales Exchanges and Basis Committee of the American Bar Association Section of Taxation. He is a member of the editorial board of the Real Estate Tax Digest.
